With Christian Olsen having developed his first prototype of an intelligent welding machine and secured a few investment lions, he and partner Kevin Christensen were ready to take on the world with their company WeldingDroid.
But they were missing some critical elements, including the CE marking that the EU requires before you can market your machinery on the European market.
”Rosenstand Engineering helped us CE mark our prototype, and although that sounds simple, I must admit it actually gave us some food for thought, says Kevin Christensen.
The many CE requirements can easily cause headaches, but the proposed amendments were well received.
“That was great because Rosenstand could tell us exactly what you can and can't do, and what you can and should do to ensure the machine meets the necessary standards.”
WeldingDroid has since grown into an international company with sales to industry in both the USA and Europe.

For example, Rosenstand asked us to install an emergency stop, which we hadn't really thought of.
